Dr. Charles C.M. Arensberg, VMD
Chuck formed Bessemer Equine as a natural evolution of his previous decades of veterinary experience leading to this specialized and niche performance-based practice. Second opinion and referral sports medicine work, pre-purchase consultations and international travel as an FEI Eventing and Show Jumping veterinarian make up his days. When not working with horses, he spends as much time as possible cycling, hiking, running, camping and exploring the outdoors with his elementary school son, Mason.
Lindsay Baltrusch
Lindsay has had a passion for horses from an early age when she started riding at a farm in Dillsburg, PA close to her home. Moving into FEI showjumping, she traveled the world with top notch riders and horses as a groom for 7 years; highlights included the Wellington Equestrian Festival, Audi Masters and Spruce Meadows. Lindsay received her Associate of Applied Science Equine Studies from Cecil College in 2015. Having worked with Dr. Arensberg since 2017, Lindsay brings her vast experience and focused education to Bessemer Equine to schedule appointments, organize inventory, handle horses, prepare regenerative therapies and perform ESWT.
Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys hiking with her husband Rob and spending time with her family and friends, including all of her many nieces and nephews. You can also find her at the barn loving on Henry, her Warmblood retiree!
